Congratulations to one of our own!! We are so excited for your next adventure Tillie, and wish you the best life has to offer ☺️

On the heels of yesterday’s Seminary Scholarship post, more good academic news – this time from the Northwest District of the Arkansas UMC! The two recipients of this year’s NWD Ethnic Ministries Scholarship are:

- Tillie Garcia of Pea Ridge UMC (pictured here with her pastor, Rev. Jerome Grotts). Tillie will attend Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge beginning this fall.

- Maggie Ramirez of St. Paul UMC Fort Smith. In addition to serving on the Northwest District office staff, Maggie is majoring in Business - Organizational Leadership at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. She has a projected graduation date of this December.

Congratulations, Tillie and Maggie!

This scholarship fund was established in 1983 and is managed by the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas. If your church or ministry has a similar fund that needs stewarding, feel free to contact us for information.
