In 2020 I wanted to move out of Minnesota. I prayed to Heavenly Father saying, “I’m going to move unless there’s a reason to stay.” In December of 2021, I met the Sister Missionaries. We met in the apartment parking garage. I had seen there was a car just like mine 2 spots over and I always wondered, “Who has that car?” I got home from work one Thursday and we both got back at the same time. I got out of my car, walked over and said, “Hey! We have the same type of car.” I started talking to the Sister Missionaries and they invited me to the Christmas party that Saturday. When they asked if I wanted to go and I said, “Yeah, yeah I can go.” The next day I was at work and they called and we had our first lesson about Adam and Eve and the creation. It had to end a little early because it was almost time to leave work. On Saturday, the day of the Christmas party, I was really hesitant about if I wanted to actually go to the party. Now, looking back, I know that it was the adversary not wanting me to go, but I knew that I said I would and didn’t want to let the missionaries down. I knew it was the right thing to do. I ended up going and had a good time at the table with the Sisters and other members of the ward. A month and a week after I met them, I got baptized! I know that was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Just all the blessings I’ve had since that and it’s helped me keep moving forward.
