The time is fast approaching for us to once again meet together as a ward in Sacrament Meeting on July 19th at 10 am.

We have been given new guidelines today from the Utah Area Presidency counseling us that everyone attending should wear a mask. Once again, we are aware that many of our ward members are high risk and are not able to attend yet. We will be following all of the safety guidelines, and Sacrament meeting will only last about 30 to 45 minutes so please come and join us if at all possible.

Please respond back as quickly as possible to one of the bishopric members if you are planning to attend on the 19th so we can make the necessary arrangements.

We’re going on a bear hunt
Starting today & We are not afraid
This covid virus craziness just needs a band aid

So grab your favorite teddy bear, buffalo or moose
Dog kitty elephant hippopotamus or goose

Put them somewhere special
For everyone to see
On the porch, in the window or even in a tree

We’re going on a bear hunt
Let’s see how big this hunt can be
Social distancing... 6 feet away
Keeping safe is the key

Take a hike or ride a bike
maybe even drive a car
Tell your friends -Tell your family-
everyone near or far

Facebook,Instagram, snap or tweet
Look everywhere up and down the street

Taking pictures of your favorite ones
Post a picture this could be so much fun

Remember bears get bored just like you
Staying in one place is really hard to do
So on Wednesdays move them somewhere new
to a place with a different or better view

If you don’t have a stuffed animal just give us a shout
We will bring one to your house just like takeout
A fun bear or animal to visit for a while
To help us all share and spread a smile

Kids moms dads grandparents too
This is something fun all of us can do
We can’t go under it
We can’t go over it
But in the end we will get through it.

TODAY, please join President and Sister Oaks for a Face to Face event for youth at 4 pm. The event will be a follow-up on the new Children and Youth program. President and Sister Oaks plan to share ideas about how to be successful in becoming more like Christ through this inspired effort. You can view the event on churchofjesuschrist.org, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints page, or YouTube. The Gospel Living app—a new mobile experience for youth demonstrated by Elder Gong during the November Face to Face event for Children and Youth—was launched globally on February 12.

We are excited to share some of the things that we are looking forward to this upcoming weekend throughout the week! Come join us for the adult session at 7 pm on Saturday evening (with our wonderful adult stake choir) at the Stake Center and on Sunday at 10 am at all 3 buildings. The Youth Choir is led by Justin Bills, the Salem Hill High School choir director (he is AMAZING). They will sing two medlies: "As Zion's Youth in latter Days/Iron Rod" and "EFY Medley: "As Sisters in Zion/We'll Bring the World His Truth."
