Wed 6:30pm & youth classes meet! Everyone welcome! A church founded on the Rock, Jesus Christ.

A very loving church, willing to accept people and their differences. Does not judge on outward appearence. We are more concerned that you show up, than whether you have on a tie or dress. God looks at the heart, not at the clothes. A church with diverse music, we like the hymns but we also like the new contemporary music as well. Have a good mixture in age as well as a dedicated youth minister an

d teachers. We guarantee if you come and visit us, you will not feel out of place. We are all sinners, "IT IS THE PERFECT CHURCH FOR PEOPLE WHO AREN'T". This is God's house, and last a reminder that everyone has an invitation.

Sunday School Lesson: May 3, 2026

Theme: Honor: Believers’ highest calling is to honor God in every aspect of their lives.

Focus Passage: Matthew 22:15-22,34-40

Memory Verse Matthew 22:37-38 “He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command.” (CSB)

Assignment: In Matthew 22:17-21, Jesus spoke about giving to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. Compare this to Acts 5:27-29; Romans 13:1-7; and 1 Peter 1:13-17. Based on all these passages, write a description of the Christian’s responsibilities toward government.

Application: A key doctrine from this session is means and methods used for the improvement of society and the establishment of righteousness among men can be truly and permanently helpful only when they are rooted in the regeneration of the individual by the saving grace of God in Jesus Christ (See Romans 13:1-2; 1 Timothy 2:1-2.) We are called to submit to government officials and laws. We are to honor God exclusively as the one true God and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

What challenges do you face in loving God fully? What can you do this week to increase your love for God? This week, memorize Matthew 22:37-38, looking for ways to do all three actions called for in these verses.

I will teach the lesson on Facebook Live on April 25, 2026.

Outline for the Lesson:

Government Authority (Matt. 22:15-22)
God’s Authority (Matt. 22:34-40)

Sunday School Lesson: April 26, 2026

Theme: Authority: Jesus holds all authority, and those who reject Him will be condemned.

Focus Passage: Matthew 21:23-32

Memory Verse Philippians 2:9 “For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,” (CSB)

Assignment: Using a Bible dictionary, collect information on the following topics: the chief priests, the elders, tax collectors, and prostitutes in first-century Isarel. Reflect on the role each played in Jesus’s message and ministry? Spend time in prayer asking God to help you understand Jesus’s work more clearly and to relate to people in a way that reflects His character.

Application: A key doctrine from this session is to Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. (See 1 Peter 1:15-17; Hebrews 12:28-29.) We can expect some to oppose or reject Jesus’s authority. We demonstrate our acceptance of Jesus’s authority by our obedience to Him.

Questions about Jesus’s authority are as relevant today as they were in the first century. Each person must decide how he or she will respond to Jesus and His authority over their lives. If we do not accept Jesus’s authority, we cannot accept who Jesus truly is. This week examine what areas of your life you need to submit to Jesus’s authority? How would doing so change your life?

I will teach the lesson on Facebook Live on April 25, 2026.

Outline for the Lesson:

Authority Challenged (Matt. 21:23-27)
Authority Recognized (Matt. 21:28-32)
