OLG's need to know
This Week... Everyone welcome to our 8:30am Mass today . We will not have Adoration afterwards, sorry for any confusion . Join us for the The Sacred Triduum. It is the three-day liturgical celebration spanning from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. It is the summit of the liturgical year , commemorating the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ as one single, continuous event. Our third annual Easter Monday Egg Hunt is happening, rain or shine, starting at 10am. Continue the joyous Easter celebration with us!
Celebrants
Holy Thursday: Fr. Gerry Bowen
Good Friday: Fr. Steven Roth
Easter Vigil: Fr. Ferdinand Ezenwachi
Easter Sunday: Fr. Gerry Bowen (8:30am), Msgr. Michael Schleupner (11am)
Anyone who would like to participate in the Holy Thursday Mandatum (Washing of Feet), please contact Mike Bertling , Coordinator of Liturgy. This ritual symbolizes Jesus' act of love, humility and service to his disciples. We will also be collecting canned good items for the poor, please bring one with you.
For Catholics, the crucifix is a profound proclamation of love and redemption, especially on Good Friday. It is more than a symbol of suffering; it is the mystery of God’s love made visible. The figure of Christ reminds us that Jesus did not save us from a distance, but entered fully into our human pain. We invite you to join us for our Good Friday Liturgy to venerate our new crucifix. As we look upon it, let us see not just pain, but a love poured out completely for our sake.
He is risen! Join us for our 8:30am or 11:00am Mass to celebrate His Resurrection!
Holy Grounds will be open after both Masses. Everyone is invited for coffee and fellowship.
NEW OPPORTUNITY!
Starting Friday, April 10th , join us for a weekly walk on the NCR trail.
We will meet in the courtyard after 8:30am Mass (or join us in the Chapel for Mass first) and carpool (or caravan) to the Parkton trailhead.
See more information in the bulletin this weekend!
Where is He meeting you?
We hope to see you at Mass this weekend.
