There’s Still Time to Register!

Missed our first Hunter Education Course? You still have one more opportunity to earn your Louisiana Hunter Education Certification.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office will host its final Hunter Education Course of the summer on August 22–23, 2026, at the SMPSO Regional Training Academy.

St. Martinville, LA 70582

Class Times:
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Students must attend both days to receive certification. The course is open to all ages, but participants must be 9 years of age or older to earn their Louisiana Hunter Education Certification Card.

Sizes available: 5 x 7” 8 x 10”, and 11 x 17”.

Note: I can provide you a matted 8 x 10 so that it will fit easily into a ready-made 11 x 14 frame, or you can just take the 8x10. 5 x 7 and 11 x 17 come just the image by themselves.

Images come with an explanation / prayer guide.

Images will be hand numbered and signed on the reverse by myself .

10% of the proceeds off the top will go directly towards Catholic Charities of Acadiana. The rest of the proceeds will go to my One Heart Archery ministry.

8x10 - $20 - just the print / print and mat + $5
11x17 - $25

I take cash and checks.

Well, you’ve asked me when.
Finally, I’ll be printing images soon that you all can purchase.

I shall have various sizes available: 4 x 6", 5 x 7", 8 x 10", and 11 x 17".

Images will come with an explanation/prayer guide.

10% of the proceeds off the top will go directly to Catholic Charities of Acadiana. The rest of the proceeds will go to my One Heart Archery ministry so that more people can see that God is not just at Church but that the spiritual life is daily life, even outside shooting bow and arrow.

So, get your orders ready! Write down the amount of each print size you would like and be ready for when I start taking orders (hopefully in June).
I'll be able to take cash, venmo, and checks.

Fr. David Rozas, pastor of my home parish in Parks, will be giving this special two-night mission next week at Immaculate Conception. He'll creatively use the image of hunting and archery to help guide us in our spiritual life, especially during this Lent.
