The Bible includes several notable events that occur on open water. These events serve as reminders to trust and remain obedient. Examples include the great flood during Noah’s time, the parting of the Red Sea during Moses’ time, Peter walking on water, and Jesus calming the storm.
Each of these stories beautifully illustrate the call to have faith that God is in control, even when our lives seem out of control.
On Sunday, March 19, we'll begin with the story of Noah and his family. Come, join us! 10:30 am

Peace... for the hurting. That's the theme of our Sunday, March 9 service. We'll worship the One who is near to the brokenhearted and who offers rest to the weary. Come at 10:30 am to receive God's Word of peace.
We'll also celebrate this Sunday with a baptism! Cake follows the service!

This coming Sunday, March 9, is a big day! Little Mya, Kyle and Hannah Lukes' newborn daughter, will be baptized during the Sunday morning service. Then Kyle and Hanna are inviting us all to celebrate by eating cake in the Fellowship Hall following the service!
There is also the Parker Rec's Pancake and Sausage Fundraiser that day, from 8:30-noon. So let me suggest that you go early to eat pancakes and help out the youth programs at the Community Building... but then be sure to come to church by 10:30, too!
