278. That is a number we rarely think about, but it’s the number of volunteers it takes to operate our ministries efficiently every Sunday.
Sunday was our Volunteer Appreciation Sunday where we celebrated the people behind that number: the ones who greet at the door, make coffee, lead worship, and everyone who works behind the scenes to create spaces where people can encounter Jesus.

As Pastor Laramie reminded us, the church is building, but the church is not a building. Jesus is continually building His church through the people who confess Him as Savior, love one another, and willingly ask, “How can I help?”
To every person who serves at Harvest: thank you. You are not merely filling a position. You are investing your time, gifts, and energy in the Kingdom of God.
And as God continues to grow His church, there is room for more people to join the work. Let’s keep building, not simply a place to gather, but a body of believers who make Jesus known.
