Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we honor those who laid down their lives for others, we are also reminded of the greatest sacrifice ever made—Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we might have eternal hope and freedom.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." — John 15:13

This Memorial Day, may we remember with gratitude, honor with humility, and pray for the families who carry the weight of loss each day. May God continue to comfort the brokenhearted, bless our nation, and draw us closer to Him.

From all of us at Paoli Wesleyan Church, we wish you a meaningful Memorial Day as we remember the fallen and give thanks for the blessings we enjoy because of their sacrifice.

With heavy hearts, we share that our sweet sister Jan has gone home to be with the Lord.
She was a light to so many, and her presence in our church family will be deeply missed. While our hearts grieve, we also rejoice in the promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
