☀️ What’s Happening at IBCKids this June! ☀️
Summer is officially here, and we have an incredible month lined up for our families! Check out a breakdown of what we’re learning, how you can bring the lessons home, and the exciting events coming up this month as detailed in the IBCKids Monthly Newsletter!

📖 What We’re Learning This Month

Babies – Middle School | The Journey of Faith: We are following the Israelites through the wilderness to discover how God provides, protects, and faithfully leads our steps—even when things look scary! From the Tabernacle to the 12 Spies, kids are learning that God always knows the best way to go.

High School | Apologetics (Defending the Faith): Our students are diving deep into the "why" behind what we believe, exploring logical, scientific, and historical evidence (like the fine-tuning of the universe and the Resurrection) to build intellectual confidence and grace.

🏡 Bring the Lesson Home: "Table Talk" & Activities
Want to reinforce this week's lesson with your kids?

Try This Activity: Go on a "Follow the Leader" walk in your neighborhood or backyard. Take turns using silly steps, hops, or paths, and remind your child that just like they follow the leader on your walk, our family can always trust and follow God!
Table Talk Question: Ask your kids: "Can you think of a time when we had to go somewhere new or wait a long time? How does it feel to know that God is always with us on our journey, just like He guided His people?"

Bedtime Tip: When turning on a nightlight or lamp before bed, remind your child that just like God used a bright fire to comfort the Israelites in the dark desert, Jesus is our light who always watches over us.

Pop-Up Barbershop | Wednesday, June 3rd (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Get a fresh cut for a great cause! Haircuts are donation-only, with all proceeds supporting our upcoming mission trips.

Monthly Church Dinner | Wednesday, June 17th @ 5:00 PM: Bring a salad of any kind to share and stay for a wonderful time of prayer and Bible study.

Save the Date for VBS! | Saturday, July 18th (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM): For ages 4–12. There will be a free family cookout and games afterward! Head over to our website to register.

📖 What We’re Learning
This month, our Babies through Middle Schoolers are starting an epic new journey: The Exodus. We’ll be following Moses from the quiet banks of the Nile to the parting of the Red Sea, discovering that no matter how big the problem, God is even bigger!

For our High Schoolers, we are continuing our Apologetics series, "Defending the Faith." We’re exploring the logical and scientific evidence for our beliefs to help students lead with intellectual confidence and grace.
