PFC: Depending on Jesus to Restore our (Imperfect) Lives
We are People Following Christ- (our real name is Palouse Federated Church. Federated simply means that we are a community of Christians from different Christian backgrounds- focused on Christ)
Hebrews 12:2 "Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is s

eated at the right hand of the throne of God." Our story is part of God’s great story. My life, my family, my money, my death, my suffering- none of it should be separate from God- and all of it should cause me to ask “How is this part of God’s Big Story?”
What do we tell people who are going through the worst time in their life?
- We believe that God knows our struggle, and does not want it to go to “waste”
- Psalm 119:50, “My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.” NIV
- God’s promise of Salvation, redemption, and growth- is a life preserver to the sinking
- Life has meaning- even the bad stuff- in God.
- We are here with you- to serve you in any way we can. We believe God can change whoever God wants to- The Gospel is good news for all who would believe. No matter a person’s past, we believe that God’s sovereign grace can change and make new any person. We must pray in all things, not in order to inform God, but to join Him, and align our will with His.

📚✏️ A New School Year, A New Season of Growth ✏️📚

As our students and teachers begin a new school year, we’re praying for God’s peace, joy, wisdom, and protection over our entire community. May He guide our students through new experiences, bless their friendships and learning, and give teachers patience and strength.

Prayer originally written by Pastor Daniel Flucke.

Please give a warm welcome to our new head Pastor Andrew Kruse. What a blessing it is to have here.

Andrew’s heart for ministry began at age 14 during a week of camp leadership, where a simple call to pray for God’s guidance sparked a lifelong pursuit of shepherd leadership. For the past 18 years, Andrew has served youth and families across both urban and suburban contexts in church and parachurch organizations.

Rooted in early mentorship that emphasized godly character above all else, Andrew went on to pursue ministry training through college and seminary at Multnomah University and Biblical Seminary (Portland, OR). Through these experiences, he developed a deeply relational approach to shepherding: creating intentional, welcoming spaces where people can encounter the person of Jesus and engage deeply with biblical truth.

For Andrew, shepherding is about leading from an overflow of personal intimacy with Christ. He is passionate about building authentic relationships, supporting families, and helping people of all ages discover and pursue God's call on their own lives.

Andrew and his wife, Rachel, with their two wonderful children, enjoy hiking, creating art and music, and rooting for the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks.
