The Iftar that we hosted on March 1st at St. Mark's was such a great event. Read the KQED report on the Bay Area wide interfaith celebration.

Several iftar dinners have doubled as activism and fundraisers, raising thousands of dollars for humanitarian relief in Muslim-majority countries.

Surprise! The artist, Ludmila Pawlowska will be present to open St. Mark's Installation of Icons in Transformation on Saturday morning (tomorrow) at 10 a.m. Very exciting. Come with friends and family to hear her talk about the art. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

A spectacular new art exhibit is going up in Palo Alto. Opening reception Jan 30th, 7:30-9pm All Saints Episcopal Church, Palo Alto. Features 150+ pieces of art by Swedish artist Ludmila Pawlowska. Pawlowska’s work "Icons in Transformation" reimagines timeless images in contemporary forms; the exhibition features numerous large-scale modern interpretations of icons. In addition to the exhibition at All Saints, more pieces will be displayed at St. Mark's throughout February and March.

One of Ludmila's paintings will be raffled off during the opening event to support the Downtown Food Closet.
