👕🛍️ FREE COMMUNITY CLOTHING EVENT COMING TO PAINTSVILLE JULY 31 🛍️👕

Families across the region are invited to a Free Community Clothing Event hosted by Frontier Behavioral Health later this month in Paintsville.

The event will be held Friday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 236 College Street, Paintsville, KY 41240, and is open to the public.

Clothing will be available free of charge for all ages and all sizes, including:

* Men’s clothing
* Women’s clothing
* Children’s clothing
* Baby clothing
* Shoes
* Jackets and coats
* Accessories

Organizers encourage families, friends, and neighbors to attend and take advantage of the free clothing available while supporting the community.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

The Cooling center has been relocated to the Paintsville Elementary Auxiliary Gym. Due to cooling issues at the Recreation Center.

Please call the City Hall at 606-789-2600 or
Dispatch at 606-789-4221 if you need to use a cooling center.

The Paintsville Recreation Center located at 232 Preston Street, is open daily as a cooling center in collaboration with Paintsville City Hall.

With extreme heat events forecast for this week, it will remain available to anyone who needs it.

Regular operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

For questions or directions, or anyone wanting to drop off water, please contact the Recreation Center at 606-789-2612.

For emergency assistance after hours, please reach out to the following numbers:

- Paintsville/Johnson County 911 dispatch center: 606-789-4221
- Paintsville-Johnson County EM Office: 606-789-2260

If you have an emergency, call 911.

In the event of a major power outage, the Recreation Center and local fire departments will be on standby to assist.
