We are a growing family of believers who seek to follow Jesus Christ as we worship Him

Wallaceton Baptist is a local, autonomous, Southern Baptist church ministering in the Berea and Paint Lick area. We have deep roots in our community and a rich history as a Kentucky church active in ministry since 1897. We strive to see our individual lives, church, and community changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We long to encourage all believers to actively take part in the mission of the church as laid out by Jesus in the Great Commission, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

When you visit with us you can expect a warm welcome! Feel free to come and worship with us, whether you wear a suit or dress, jeans or khakis. Our service lasts about an hour, and includes elements such as singing together, prayer, and listening to a sermon. Children are welcome to join the service; we have Children’s Church for ages 2-8.

What an incredible couple of days at Wallaceton Baptist Church Be The Light Camp! The energy was absolutely electric, and seeing the kids soak up every moment of fellowship and fun was a highlight for everyone involved. We truly pushed the boundaries of camp cuisine this year—who knew that DoorDashing Taco Bell to the middle of the woods would become a legendary memory?

It wasn't just about the late-night taco run, though. Between the games, the deep conversations, and the shared laughter, we all walked away with hearts a little fuller and spirits a lot higher. The adults had just as much fun as the kids, reminding us that you’re never too old to find joy in the chaos of a great church camp.

We are so grateful for everyone who poured their time and energy into making this experience possible for our youth. The bonds formed this week are going to last long after the last taco wrapper is thrown away. Looking forward to seeing how these kids carry the lessons from camp into the rest of the year and into their lives!!
