The last church gathering of 2025 was one for the books. It was also an amazing way to start 2026! 🎉 We started the night with food, fellowship, and card games. Then Bro. James brought a message about the sovereignty of God in our lives from Numbers 6:24-26. We prayed into the New Year and observed the Lord’s Supper. We had 1 baptism right after midnight. (Mercedes Hubbard) There was an invitation and praise time when Bruce Waddles decided to be baptized! 2 baptisms for 2026 and we are so excited to see what else is in store for God’s kingdom this year!

Yesterday two men of our church were tested by a council, voted in, and ordained as deacons. Thank you for stepping up into this calling that comes only from God, Keith Smith and Wesley Tanner. Our congregation will continue to pray for you and your families as you serve alongside our pastor and his wife. None are perfect or worthy of Glory but God is. God can use you to serve in many ways within the church if you allow Him.

We at Scaffold Cane Baptist pray you had a very Merry CHRISTmas. 🎄 Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean the gift Jesus gave us on while on earth and at the cross of calvary isn’t still available for you to receive today. Today can be the day of Salvation!

Join us tomorrow at 10:00AM for Sunday School and 11:00AM for Morning Worship. There is also an ordination service taking place tomorrow at 2pm. All welcome, come praise Jesus with us.

FREE EVENT this coming Saturday at the Rockcastle Middle School at 11am! GIVE HOPE Christmas Celebration! Gifts for Children ages 2-17.. Christmas filled backpacks, toys, & blankets! While supplies last! Children must be present to receive toys & backpacks! Spread the word! Everyone welcome!
