🔨 CHURCH WORK DAY — THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday, August 15, we’re coming together for our first Church Work Day, and we’d love to have you join us!

🕘 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
📍 Everyone, please meet at the church at 9:00 AM!

We’ll be spending the day at both the FLC and Main Building, doing some cleaning, organizing, and general work to help get our spaces ready for the season ahead.

You don’t need to have a special skill or know exactly what you’re doing—just come ready to jump in and help! There will be something for everyone, and we’ll work together throughout the day.

🚚 Have a truck? If you’re able to bring it, we may need some help hauling things away as we clean out and organize.

🍕 And one important update from Sunday: Pizza will be provided for everyone. 🙌

💧 Water will also be provided.

Come for the whole day or come for whatever time you’re able—we’d love to have you with us!

✨ Tomorrow, we step into one of the most breathtaking chapters in all of Scripture...

🔥 Hebrews 11. 🔥

Not because it’s filled with superheroes of the faith, but because it’s filled with ordinary people who trusted an extraordinary God. ❤️

People who kept moving when they couldn’t see. 👣
🙌 Kept trusting when they didn’t understand.
🛤️ Kept obeying when it would’ve been easier to quit.

That’s what faith looks like. ✨

And if we’re honest, that’s where many of us are living right now.

We’re believing. 🙏
We’re praying. 🙏
We’re waiting. ⏳
We’re trusting God with things we can’t yet see. 👀

And here’s the incredible part, the same God who proved Himself faithful in Hebrews 11 is still proving Himself faithful today. 🙌🔥

Tomorrow, Pastor Britta continues our Better+Brighter journey through Hebrews, and we believe it’s going to be a powerful morning as we worship 🎶, open God’s Word 📖, and fix our eyes on Jesus together. ❤️

Isn't it amazing how Sunday set the direction for your entire week?

There's something powerful about walking into a room where people are praying for one another, lifting their voices together, opening God's Word, and reminding each other that Jesus is still enough. ❤️

And here's what's really cool...this week's passage couldn't be more fitting.

As we continue our Better + Brighter series through Hebrews, we'll be in Hebrews 10:19–39, where we're challenged to draw near to God, hold tightly to our hope, and not give up meeting together—but encourage one another all the more. We don't gather because it's a habit. We gather because we need Jesus...and we need each other.
