RECAP POST
JH family! What a glorious few weeks it has been. I have been moved to my core this week just with gratitude and thanksgiving for being able to shepherd this House and to see what Jesus is doing. Through I believe one heart cry and one unified voice of a cry for God to do something unprecedented in our city and region, I truly believe The Lord is about to do something exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ask, think, or imagine. Not only this, but we are continuing to see such amazing miracles, signs, and wonders, God’s glorious hand of provision at work, and discipleship continuing to take place as people are spiritually formed into devoted Christians that love Jesus above all else. Our aim and pursuit will never change; love Jesus and minister to His heart with all of our entire being. As we glorify Him, we are also asking that the fruit we produce by the power of The Holy Spirit be missional in its ability to point others to what it means to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. May the power of The Holy Spirit equip us, lead us, and guide us to see others equipped as whole and healed followers of Him. I can say with such fervor and passion that I’m very excited about what Jesus is going to do as He builds the House in the last four months of the year and the last quarter of the year!!
Over the last few weeks I have had the privilege of starting to meet with different serve teams and encourage them! I’m so thankful for each team that serves at Jesus House. Serving does something very deep in your spirit, as it is the way of Jesus Himself. He took on the form of a servant, to come to earth and serve, not be served. I have had it on my heart to remind all of our church family that serving, and sacrificially serving, is such a great and profound way to model Jesus for your children. I am so thankful for a Godly heritage that showed me what honoring the House of God meant, what loving Jesus at all times and in all places looks like, and knowing deep down that serving Jesus and being a part of the bride is never, ever wasted!!
Also, over the last few weeks, we have had such special times in His presence together as a church family, on both Sundays and Wednesdays. Baby Dedication Sunday was so beautiful. I’m proud to see all of these amazing families choosing to raise their children in the ways of The Lord. The Road Home meeting several Sundays ago was such a blessed time. I love getting to meet families and individuals that have started coming to the church and answer questions, share the heart of the House, and expand upon where we have been as a church and where we are headed! God has been so faithful! If you filled out a Connection Card, I will be sure to get with you soon!
I’m preparing this Sunday to begin a new preaching series at Jesus House entitled, “The Heart of Jesus.” Come hear what I believe is going to be hopefully a very impactful series that will reveal to us His heart through the written Word of God and the preaching of The Word as well. Let’s examine the red letters in certain passages of The Bible and gather everything we can from the words of life!
Upcoming, please don’t forget to mark your calendars and invite anyone you can for our Jesus Crusade 2026! It will be Friday, September 18th, 2026 at 6:30 PM down at McConnell Plaza on the Owensboro Riverfront. Join us for live worship, the preaching of The Word and The Gospel, food trucks, prayer and intercession, free waters and snacks, and more! The event is open to anyone in the city and region and beyond and the event is free!

9/14- Monday evening Become Class at 6 PM! We are switching to a weeknight instead of 8:30 on a Sunday morning. Let’s make disciples and be devoted to becoming more rooted disciples ourselves!
9/27: All KIDS Team Member meeting! We haven’t had one of these in a little bit and we find it so valuable and encouraging to be able to support our KIDS team and make sure that we are raising up the next generation in the best way possible! Thank you for serving in JH KIDS!
10/4: Water baptisms, 4 year church celebration, and the Fall Gathering at Nicely Farm from 4-8 PM
10/24: Candy Trail 2026!!

In closing, thank you JH family for loving Jesus, spending time with Him, and clinging to the cross. He is worth everything! Don’t let the devil convince you that there is another way; instead, enter by the narrow path, through the only gate that leads to life everlasting - Jesus Christ! He has never failed me yet, and He won’t fail you. Keep being exemplary in all that you do, say, think, and in your generosity. Let generosity pour from your heart. Find needs and meet them, be moved with compassion, take care of the House, love your neighbor, and tell someone the Good News! Cait and I love you, JH family! The BEST is yet to come!
