Maybe you’ve thought about coming to church… but something keeps stopping you.

Maybe you don’t feel like you know enough about the Bible.
Maybe you don’t have everything figured out.
Maybe you’re not sure you’ll fit in.
Maybe you’ve even wondered if church is really a place for someone like you.

Here’s the good news: God has never waited for people to have it all together before calling them. ❤️

This Sunday we’re talking about Moses, a man who had questions, doubts, excuses, and plenty of reasons why he thought God should choose somebody else.

Sound familiar? 😉

Our message is “Called, Not Qualified.” And maybe it’s exactly the reminder some of us need: God isn’t looking for perfect people. God works through ordinary, imperfect people who are willing to take one faithful step.

So if you’ve been looking for a reason to come to church, consider this your invitation.

Come as you are.
Bring your questions.
Bring your doubts.
Bring your imperfect, messy, beautiful self.

There’s a place for you here. ❤️

Join us tomorrow morning at 8:30am.
Come worship. Come breathe. Come be reminded that God can do beautiful things through people just like us.

And hey… invite somebody to come with you. They might be waiting for someone to ask. ❤️

Join us in prayer for those impacted by historic levels of flash flooding and severe storms across multiple states in the Midwest United States this week, including Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, and Ohio. Widespread evacuations, damage to homes and businesses, and multiple deaths have been reported, with several areas still under flood watch today.

UMCOR is in close communication with the affected annual conferences, and we stand ready to support their response efforts as they care for their communities in need.

Looking for a way to help?

Please join us in prayer for the people of Colombia who were impacted by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake this morning, the strongest to strike the country in the last decade. At least 281 people have died, and thousands more are injured, missing, or have been displaced from their homes. As first responders and search and rescue teams uncover the devastating toll of this disaster, we pray for them and their efforts, and we mourn with those who have lost loved ones.

UMCOR stands ready to respond through support to our humanitarian and ecumenical partners in Colombia and across Latin America. We will share response updates on social media as they become available.

As wildfires continue to burn throughout Washington state, UMCOR is supporting the The Pacific Northwest Conference of The United Methodist Church in their efforts to provide immediate relief to those in need through a solidarity grant. UMCOR is in communication with the conference as they continue to assess needs and coordinate with partners.

Continue in prayer for those who lost everything when their homes burned. Pray for first responders as they work to contain the fires and assist those in need. Pray for safety during evacuations.

As a reminder, please do not self-deploy. You can explore Early Response Team (ERT) volunteer opportunities through your local United Methodist annual conference.

Please share your own prayers for those impacted by the wildfires in the comments.
