We would love to extend an invite to anyone who would love to join us on this day, along with every Sunday. Sadly we are missing one of Pastor Josh’s children as he was at college, in the picture, but we are excited to be welcoming this family.

Today we welcomed Leah Mulder into our church as a full member. We also had Pastor Jon Spronk preaching for us and telling us all about the cadet camporee. We had some boys from our church go and we were able to see some of the things that they did while they were there.

A 13 year chapter in Bethel CRC's history concluded last Sunday as Rev. Doug Van Der Pol preached his final sermons, concluding his sermon series through Colossians by exhorting the congregation to PRAY and stand firm on the Word of God. Pastor Doug expressed his gratitude and love for our church family. Some very special music included a quartet singing "The Family of God", as well as the Little Pickers accompanying Pastor Doug to "He Leadeth Me". We praise God for Pastor Doug and his time at Bethel CRC. And then the next chapter began as Council President Greg Westra announced that Pastor Josh CHristoffels accepted the call to become the next shepherd at Bethel! We praise God for providing for us and ask for prayers for Pastor Josh and his family as they move to Oskaloosa. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
