It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but itcertainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who aresinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as theScriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.”

Today’s Thought:

It is time we start hating sin. Sin leads to one thing…death! We need to dealvigorously with sin in our lives.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me to deal with the sin in my own life. I ask that You make me hate it as much as Youdo! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Scripture:

I Corinthians 5:9-11 (NLT):
When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.

Today’s Thought:

We need to get real with people. If your friends say they are Christians and yet live like hellions there is something wrong with them. Run! Do not look back! This sounds harsh. However, is it worth jeopardizing your relationship with the Lord and go to hell to be friends with that person? No, absolutely not! It’s time we get serious with people.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me get real and take an inventory of my friends. If I have friends that pull me away from You, I pray that You help me to have the courage to not associate with them anymore and pray for them from a distance. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

I Corinthians 5:3-5 (NLT):

Even though I am not with you in person, I am with you inthe Spirit. And as though I were there, I have already passed judgment on thisman in the name of the Lord Jesus. You must call a meeting of the church. Iwill be present with you in spirit, and so will the power of our Lord Jesus. Thenyou must throw this man out and hand him over to Satan so that his sinfulnature will be destroyed and he himself will be saved on the day the Lordreturns.

Today’s Thought:

We must be careful who we associate with. Those that live in sin, and are not willingto change, we must not associate with them. It is much easier for a person to tear someone down than build themup.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me to be mindful of whom I associate with. If there are people in my life that are notgood for me, I pray You show them to me and give me the courage to break tieswith them. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

I can hardly believe the report about the sexual immoralitygoing on among you—something that even pagans don’t do. I am told that a man inyour church is living in sin with his stepmother. You are so proud ofyourselves, but you should be mourning in sorrow and shame. And you shouldremove this man from your fellowship.

Today’s Thought:

S*x sells! It is everywhere you look. This is not only very perverse but it isruining people’s lives every day. Wemust be aware of this trap of the enemy and run without even lookingback!!! Be careful what you allow inyour home and life.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me to be mindful of this trap of the enemy. Help me to guard my heart, my eyes, my earsand my mouth. In Jesus’ name I pray,amen!

A lot of people are talk. They talk to you one way but live in a totally different way. This is not only damaging for the person butdamaging for everyone around them. Weneed to practice what we preach. Notonly on Sunday morning but 24 hours a day/365 days a year. Are you living this way?

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me to live out what I preach all the time. Please forgive me when I drop the ball. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

We need to be careful that we do not become arrogant. This is very hard for some of us.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, help me to not become arrogant as I study Your Word. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

The Lord often sends people to show us the way. This may be your pastor, a friend, a parentand so on. When the Lord puts someone inyour life to help you, it is important that we allow them to help us. This may entail correction. However, it is a must in order to grow in theLord.

Do you live your life in a way that other Christians canimitate you? Paul did. We should liveour lives in this way as well.

The fact of the matter isnot everyone will like you. You oftenwill be treated horribly. What you dowith that shows your true character. Will you lash out at that person or bless and pray for them?

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, I pray that You show me my true character. If there is something I need to work on Ipray that You reveal it to me as well as help me with it. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Blessing those who curse usis really hard. However, it is amust. Not only will it preventbitterness to take root in our heart but it will also help us to grow in theLord.
