"When he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly." — 1 Peter 2:23 ⚖️

Forgiving someone doesn't mean giving them a pass or pretending it never happened. It means handing the scales of justice over to the only One qualified to hold them. Let God be God this week.

New song for this Sunday. What a God by SEU Worship.

Let these lyrics sink in for a moment:
If the highest place I reached is at Your feet
Then I've done it all
If the best thing that I’ve seen is Your glory,
Then I’ve seen it all
Your love has saved my life
Forever satisfied
God, You are my everything

If one word is the only thing You speak
Then I’ve heard it all
If I feel Your heart and never see Your hand
I still have it all
No treasure of this life
Could ever satisfy
God, You are my everything!

Ever tried to build an IKEA bookshelf at midnight with no words in the instruction manual? It usually ends in tears and structural failure. 🛠️😭

Too many of us treat our faith the exact same way. We treat life like an assembly line where we have to muscle through the pain, fake a smile, and pretend we can handle everything. Then, when we feel like breaking, we carry an extra layer of shame because we think a "good Christian" shouldn't struggle. But the only perfect thing about you is the Savior who holds you.

In 1 KINGS 19, when Elijah had a full-blown meltdown in the desert, God didn't give him a lecture. He gave him a nap, a jar of water, and some baked bread. God acknowledged that the journey was simply too big for him to handle alone.

If the weight on your chest is too heavy today, stop trying to bench press it by yourself. Whisper, "Jesus, take the bar," and let Him be your strength.

Let’s talk in the comments: What is the most hilariously complicated thing you’ve ever tried to assemble or fix yourself? Drop your stories below! 👇👇

It’s with much sadness that we are sharing the news that our beloved Tony VanderHeyden went home to be with his Lord and Savior after a serious head injury. Please continue to lift up this family in prayer.

Celebration of Tony’s life and faith in Jesus Christ will be next Thursday, August 13 at Osceola Grace Church. Visitation from 4-6 pm, services at 6. We will be streaming the service for those who cannot attend.

View Anthony Walter VanderHeyden's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

History is full of brilliant people making spectacularly bad choices (looking at you, BlackBerry 📱👀). But let’s be honest—sometimes we do the exact same thing with our faith. We build our lives on comfortable clichés, only to realize they aren’t actually in the Bible.

This Sunday, we’re kicking off our new summer series, Spiritual Urban Legends, and testing our favorite cultural truisms against the actual Word of God. Bring a friend, bring your Bible, and get ready to bust some myths! ☀️📚
