Tomorrow, Sept 13th, is God's Work, Our Hands. We'll have a shorter worship service starting at 9 am as normal. Libbie Schoon will be baptized during the service as well. Then we'll split up around 9:30 for service projects.
The service projects include, cleaning up cemetery gravestones, Highway Ditch cleanup with the youth, making & delivering Thank You muffins to the emergency workers, making greeting cards, and we are also collecting items for the Food Shelf, Someplace Safe and Main Street Industries.
We are looking for items like Dental Hygiene products (toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, dental floss, etc.), Bathing products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap, etc.), Menstrual products (tampons, disposable pads, etc.), Deodorant, Lotion, Chapstick/Lip Balm, Nail Clippers/Nail Files, Toilet Paper, Kleenex, Combs/Brushes, Diapers/Wipes, Cleaning products, Art Supplies (markers, colored pencils, crayons, pens), Word search books/Seek and Find, Fidgets & Post it Notes. Also, any food items that you would like to have taken to the Food Shelf.
After the projects, there will be a potluck meal consisting of BBQs which will be provided, and each person is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the lives lost and hold all who mourn in prayer.

In observance of Labor Day, celebrating the incredible contributions and achievements of American workers, our office will be closed today, Monday, September 7th.
