Sometimes forgiveness feels impossible because, on our own, it is.

Our patience runs out. Our love reaches its limit. But God can give us what we don’t have on our own—the grace to forgive as we’ve been forgiven.

Forgiveness isn’t always easy, and it usually isn’t a one-time decision.

Sometimes it’s something we have to choose again and again. But while resentment keeps us stuck, forgiveness makes room for healing, freedom, and the kind of relationships God calls us to build.

What would it look like to choose forgiveness today?

Forgiveness isn’t pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s choosing not to let the hurt keep holding onto you.
Sometimes that choice has to be made again tomorrow. And the day after that.
Resentment doesn’t set things right. Forgiveness sets us free.

Before we focus on where we’re going, it’s worth remembering how God has already carried us.

Exodus 19:4 gives us this picture: “I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.”
There have been moments when we didn’t have the strength, the answers, or the way forward, and still, God was underneath us.

Before we rush into what’s next, there’s some preparation to do.

Look back and remember God’s faithfulness.
Look around and commit to the community.
Look inward and prepare your heart.
Look up and get ready for what God wants to do.

This fall, don’t just go through the motions. Make room for God to lead you somewhere new.

God has been faithful before, and He will be faithful again.

As we look ahead to what’s next, we don’t have to move forward wondering whether God will show up. We can look back, remember His faithfulness, and trust Him with what’s coming.
