In this teaching from the School of Transformation in Oroville, we go deeper into what it means to live under the Kingdom of God. Theology isn’t just head knowledge—it becomes the foundation we build our lives upon.

“I learned to trust people. I learned that if I trust Jesus and let Him lead me, everything will be okay, even when circumstances come that I may not understand.
Even if the people He has placed in my life aren’t perfect, I can still trust the Lord in their lives and in mine. He has a plan.

You should come to SOT because we can all heal, learn, and grow. We haven’t arrived yet. Setting aside time to be intentional with Him is wonderful and fruitful, it will impact the rest of your life.
It’s worth it.”

Jesus invites us into a life of transformation, where we become more like Him and learn to live out His purpose.

“The main purpose of worship is to give to God, not receive from God.
I continue walking this out today by choosing to go into worship with a heart posture of giving and I have found that there is no such thing as outgiving God.”

“How to not be a victim.
Before school, I had no idea that a Christian could actually live out their life making powerful and loving choices rather than being dragged through everything and merely surviving whatever the Lord called them to.

I thought that was as good as it got, and I had very little hope or excitement for my future. It blew my mind to hear our founding director, Geordie, describe the way he made decisions and submitted to the Lord and his leaders out of his genuine love for Jesus.

I was used to making weak, resentful decisions. This is something that has changed my life and continues to change my life as I keep moving forward in Jesus! I am so grateful for the examples of the leaders ahead of me!

I believe people should choose SOT Oroville because it’s a great place to host the mess and the beauty of someone transforming in Jesus. It’s an awesome place to be discipled and loved back to life!

We have a strong group of leaders who have come from all walks of life and work as a unit to help spiritual orphans become sons and daughters.”

Following Jesus means becoming someone new.

Jesus doesn't just forgive us. He transforms us, teaching us to walk in freedom, purpose, and deeper relationship with Him.

School of Transformation is a place to go deeper with Jesus, grow through discipleship, and become the person He created you to be.

"You can't do Christianity alone! We need each other. When I'm having a hard day I have people I can trust around me to counsel, encourage, correct me. When I have great things in my life, I have people who celebrate with me. This is why we need the church, why we need each other."

"It's the people and community here at SOT that takes the words of Jesus and makes them life-changing/life-transforming in real time, real life, today, relevant for my life, feet on the ground type transformation."

Jess is a pastor at The Father's House Church and serves in the Father's House Learning Center as a teacher and assistant principal.
