Our World Hope journey with Eukabeth Kabwoya began years ago when we first met her as a pharmacy student in Kenya. Even then, there was something special about her, a genuine love for people, a servant’s heart, and a desire to use her gifts to make a difference in her native Kenya.

Over the years, we’ve had the incredible privilege of watching Eukabeth grow from a pharmacy student into a wonderful pharmacist and an integral part of our World Hope mission team.

What began as a meeting with a student has grown into a treasured friendship and a partnership in serving others.
Eukabeth volunteers with us year after year, giving her time, knowledge, compassion, and energy to help those we serve. She is not simply someone who joins our mission, she has become an important part of the heart of World Hope.

What makes Eukabeth truly special goes far beyond her profession. She has a kindness that is evident in the way she treats people, a joy that is contagious, and a humility that makes everyone around her feel valued. She serves with such genuine compassion and gives so freely of herself.

Eukabeth is truly beautiful inside and out. Her outward beauty is undeniable, but it is her heart that leaves the lasting impression. She reflects the very spirit of what it means to serve, to give of yourself, to love others, and to use the gifts God has given you to make a difference.

We are so thankful that God brought Eukabeth into our World Hope family all those years ago. We are grateful for the pharmacist she has become, the friend she has become, and most of all, the beautiful person she is.
We have been blessed to serve alongside you, and we look forward to every year we get to share this mission together.

There are people who attend a church, and then there are people who build a church. Gladys is the latter.

From the very beginning, she has been the steady heartbeat behind so much of what we do. It’s not just about showing up, it’s about the way she loves on others through her service.

She has a relentless heart for Kingdom business and a passion for discipleship that challenges us all to be better.

We are who we are because of people like Gladys.

Eunice “Lockwood” is the full-circle story every organization dreams of.

She walked the halls of World Hope Academy as a student. She was raised in the heart of Kawangware, shaped by this very community & then went out into the world to pursue her studies at university. She built a career in hospitality, but Kawangware never left her heart.

And so she came back.

Not once, not twice, but every holiday, every break, every chance she got. For over 6 years, Eunice has been the familiar face at our medical clinics, running, registering, praying, evangelizing. She has served in Awana and equally she has poured into Engage youth service, teaching our youth, leading worship, and equally standing and serving at the annual Pastors Legacy Conference serving the very shepherds who shape our faith.

She is the living, breathing picture of what we mean when we say we are raising generations that will serve the call. Eunice was once the student and now, she is the mentor as she was once the one being poured into, she now is the one who pours out.

We celebrate Eunice not just for the hours she gives, but for the way she gives them, with joy, with worship in her heart, with a love for the next generation that is undeniable.

Thank you, Eunice, you are the reason we believe in what we do.

Volunteer Highlight 🎥

Steve Kaste is the unseen force behind so much of what we experience. While we are singing, learning, and connecting, Steve is framing the shot, capturing the moment, and ensuring that not a single part of the story is lost. He is the artist behind the lens and the architect of our online presence.

He is a man of many talents. You might see him leading on the stage with the Music Ministry, or you might see him on the pitch, captain of Engage FC, leading his team with the same passion he brings to everything he does. Steve uses every tool he has to serve.

He works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the message of hope is communicated with excellence, creating meaningful experiences for all of us.

Steve, you don’t just volunteer, you pour your whole self into building the church. You use your creativity to make the invisible visible, and you serve with a passion that inspires us all.

Thank you for being the hands and feet, the eyes and ears of our ministry. You are a gift.
