God’s presence is our home.

Our first core value. The one everything else is built on.

We didn’t move to Horizon West to start a program or fill a building. We came because we believe God’s presence belongs at the center of a community—and that when it’s there, everything changes. Marriages. Families. The way people treat their neighbors.

We’ve watched it happen in our own home. We believe it can happen here.

The Abode isn’t named after a place. It’s named after a presence.

Summertime in Horizon West has a rhythm we love: warm breeze, laughing kids, good music, parents catching up over the good stuff. This is what it looks like to slow down and just be together.

We believe the best moments happen when someone opens the door and says “come on in” — even if that door is a food truck line with a sunset view. That kind of community is kind of our whole thing.

Catch us at your neighborhood food truck night around Horizon West. Pull up a seat, bring the family, and let’s spend these last golden weeks of summer together. We’re always glad to have you. 🫶☀️🌳🎶

For 7 years, Crystal prayed that Armando would come home to God.

Then came one Sunday.

Mando walked into church and everything changed. Before the day was over, he’d signed up for premarital counseling, enrolled in a Next Steps class, and joined the men’s ministry. All in one Sunday.

They got married, committed their family to the Lord, and had their second beautiful son.

Two years later, he and Crystal are moving to Florida to help plant The Abode Church.

It only takes a single word, one honest prayer, or a moment in God’s presence to shift a marriage, heal a home, and leave a mark on the generations following behind us.

God never wastes a Sunday. What’s He waiting to do in yours?

Excellence is our spirit.

We don’t mean perfect. We don’t mean polished for the sake of it.

We mean: the people walking through our doors deserve our best. A room prepared for them. Details that have been thoughtfully intended. A name that’s been remembered. A cup of coffee that’s actually good.

Excellence, for us, is a form of love. We work hard at what we build because the people we’re building it for are worth working hard for.

That’s the standard we’re holding ourselves to.
