CrossWay Community Church

CrossWay Community Church Life's better together living as His. Our Misson
We exist to encourage everyone we meet to join us in knowing and following God. What Does This Look Like?

Our Vision "Living as His"
The Horizons:
Living as His Family (1 year)... As a highly relational church, we envision our first year to involve strengthening relational connections within the church family. By embracing the unique “together” passion of our local Body, we can begin to live the kind of biblical community God has designed for His church. Living as His Ambassadors (3 years)... As we be

tter learn to live in community, it is our hope at this stage to find ourselves consistently looking outside the walls of our church to make an impact in our community and invite others into the family of God. Living as His Investors (5+ years)... While planning this far out is difficult, we would love to see the CrossWay family invested in an area of our community. That could be anything from coming alongside a local ministry in need of help, starting a local outreach, or even planting a church in a community in need! Our Map
Worshiping together in Christ
As believers we are called to glorify God with our lives (Ro. 15:5-6) and to not neglect doing this corporately (Heb. 10:25). Worship is not limited to music, but rather includes the study of God’s Word, prayer, and giving. Belonging together in Christ
The Christian walk is meant to be done in relationship with other believers (Heb. 10:24; Prov. 27:17). Believers at CrossWay need a place to belong where they can be known at a deeper level than is possible on Sunday morning. Building together in Christ
Believers need to be developing into mature believers and encouraging each other to do the same (Eph. 4:12-13). CrossWay attenders need places in which to receive training, mentorship, and discipleship. Serving together in Christ
Each believer has been gifted for the purpose of building up the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-13) and should, thus, regularly practice serving others and the local Church (Ro. 12:3-8). Reaching together in Christ
As a church, we have been given a mission to take the gospel message of Jesus Christ to our community and the world (Mt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). CrossWay needs to provide opportunities for attenders to celebrate and participate in what God is doing in Orlando and the world. Our Measures
Measures are a picture of a maturing believer which will serve as the tool by which our ministries’ “success” is measured. In this way, we do not equate success with the development of programs but rather the making of disciples. Someone “living as His” is…
-Developing a reputation for righteous living in his or her sphere of influence
-Actively using his or her spiritual gifts to equip the Body for ministry
-Able to teach and defend biblical truth
-Making career and lifestyle choices in light of the command to make disciples of all nations
-In regular practice of prayer, study of the Word, and sharing Christ with others
-Pursuing genuine relationships that reflect Christ’s love for us

As A.W. Tozer said, 'What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.' Let that sink in. What do you truly believe about the divine?

In life, we invest time and effort into many things that can be easily lost. But as Mary discovered, choosing to encounter Jesus, to make space for Him and hear His word, is a good portion that will never be taken away. It's the necessary step for true life.

A core lesson from Jesus' ministry: being with Him always precedes doing for Him. This foundational truth applies to all disciples, emphasizing presence before action.

🌿 When Everything Is Changing, God Remains the Same

Life is full of seasons of change.

Maybe you're starting a new school year, beginning a new job, navigating a new relationship, becoming an empty nester, or simply wondering what the next season will bring.

Some changes are exciting. Others can leave us feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or a little lost.

But there is something that never changes: God. ❤️

When everything around us feels like it's shifting, we can stand firmly on the truth that the Lord is faithful, steady, and always with us.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8

He is our Rock when life feels uncertain. Our refuge when we're overwhelmed. Our guide when we don't know which way to go.

Whatever season you're entering, you don't have to face it alone. Hold onto the One who never changes.

Come worship with us this Sunday at Crossway Community Church. Let's encourage one another and learn to trust God through every season of life.

New season. Same faithful God. 🤍

Tell us in the comments. What does it mean to you? Exploring the profound question: what does it truly mean for us to recline at the table? This moment of reflection invites deeper understanding.

08/05/2026

It's not about us, but the glory of the King. He invites us all to be His guests around His table. Luke chapter 22 shares the eyewitness accounts of that night, as they reclined at the table.

08/04/2026

Consider this morning your opportunity to say 'yes' to Jesus' sacrifice. Embrace the silence of His body and blood as a profound first step of faith. As you come forward, take the bread, dip it in the cup, and receive. Only do so when your heart is truly ready and the Spirit prompts you. Let's approach this sacred moment with intention, just as He did.
