Ezekiel 39:23-26 After describing in detail the destruction of virtually all of Gog's military structure, God turns His attention to His people, who had been judged for their iniquities against Him earlier, which appears to be God's reason for allowing Gog to amass such a mighty army to confront Israel . While the Lord tells Israel why He hid His face from them and did nothing to prevent the amassing of such a force against them, He still reassured Israel that He would not allow them to be destroyed, but will show not only them, but the Gentile natons as well of His jealousy for His people that He pledged to protect.

John 9:19-23 The Pharisees, who were very skeptical of the healing of a man who was born blind - either that Jesus healed the man, or that the man was actually healed instead of attempted some type of scheme - went to the parents and asked them to identiy the formerly blind man. The parents were afraid of being put out of the synagogue (i.e. excommunicated), so while they affirmed that the man in question is indeed their son, they could not confirm or deny who healed him. afraid to mention that it was Christ who healed the man...even if they knew it was true.

Ezekiel 39:17-22 Continuing with the narrative on the end of the army of Gog, Ezekiel describes a most macabre feast, that of the army of Gog, both the mighty and the footsoldiers, of all the sacrifices that are to be made in the supposed celebration of the destruction of Israel. This is the humiliating end of the armies that will march against Israel on the side of the northern kingdom - and both Israel and the Gentile nations will know the power and authority of God, and the judgment that will be put on anyone who endeavors to destroy His people
