A Church determined to share the Gospel Worship Sunday @ 10am

10/31/2026

All praises to God! We’re back in the sanctuary this Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church! After a challenging week, we are grateful to share that the church is safe and ready for worship.
We invite you to join us at 10:00 AM as we come together to thank God for His goodness and faithfulness on Communion Sunday! We are looking forward to hearing the Word of God preached by Rev. Nyia Lee.
Come with your heart open and your spirit ready to receive what God has for us! We'd love to see you back in the sanctuary as we lift up the name of the Lord together. There’s a place for you at Bethel! "A Church Determined To Share The Gospel"

***IMPORTANT UPDATE****
Bethel family and friends, our 109th Church Anniversary celebration is still happening this Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM — but our worship location has changed.

Due to a recent fire in our church kitchen, and out of an abundance of caution and respect for the restoration team working to prepare our building, we have made the decision to hold our Anniversary Worship Service at:

Bella Italia Restaurant & Elegant Banquets
535 Central Ave.
City of Orange, NJ 07050

We are still coming together to celebrate 109 years of God’s faithfulness, grace, and provision at Bethel Baptist Church!

We are also excited to welcome our Guest Preacher, Rev. Leon Porter Sr. of New Hope Baptist Church, Newark, NJ, as he brings the Word.

Following worship, Bella Italia will be serving dinner free of charge, so come prepared to worship, celebrate, fellowship, and give God thanks for all He has done.

The building may change, but the worship does not. We are still Bethel, and WE are still the house...we are still celebrating 109 years of God keeping us!

Please share this announcement so everyone knows our updated location.

With grateful hearts, Bethel Baptist Church REJOICES as we welcome Rev. Dr. Karlos Nichols as our Pastor-Elect!

We believe God is continuing to lead Bethel into a new season of ministry, growth, service, and Kingdom impact. As we prepare for this next chapter, we invite our church family, friends, former members, neighbors, and community to come worship with us and experience what God is doing in this house.

Rev. Dr. Nichols will officially begin serving as Pastor-Elect of Bethel Baptist Church on Sunday, December 6, 2026. We look forward to walking together in faith as he begins this new assignment, preaching the Word, caring for God’s people, and helping lead Bethel forward in its mission to share the Gospel.

“And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” — Jeremiah 3:15 NKJV

If you have been looking for a church home, seeking a place to reconnect with God, or simply want to be part of this exciting new season, there is a place for you at Bethel.

Come grow with us. Come worship with us. Come be part of what God is doing next.
