Ontario Community Church

Ontario Community Church Ontario Community Church is a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church that began in the 1940s.

Ever feel like the accusations never stop?

There's a reason.

The same one that tempts you to fall is the one that condemns you when you do. But Revelation 12 says the accuser (Satan) has already been thrown down, and the verdict is signed.

The next time that finger points at you, answer it: look what Christ has done.

Good morning!

This week Pastor Patrick continues our journey through Revelation with "The Woman and the Dragon" from Revelation 12:1-12.

John shows us the war behind the seals and the trumpets.

A woman clothed with the sun cries out in birth pains. A great red dragon waits to devour her child, but the child is caught up to God and to his throne. War breaks out in heaven, and the great dragon, that ancient serpent, is thrown down. Then a loud voice declares it: the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, and they conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. The case is closed. It was signed in blood. Join us this morning.

One of the things I find so interesting about Revelation 11 is the way the ark of the covenant appears on the scene. After the Old Testament, there's really not much mention of the ark at all, and even some debate about where it actually is.

But the ark isn't lost. It's hidden, kept until the proper time.

πŸ“° This week at OCC β€” June 1, 2026

On Trinity Sunday we came to the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11, where the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and the elders fall down in worship.

It was a full week around it. We shared Part Two of Honoring Our Veterans, two more of our own telling their stories in their own words: Keith Sutch, who served in the U.S. Air Force, and Walt Van D**e, who gave 28 years to the Oregon Army National Guard. Thank you to Mary Walters for recording them.

STEAM Night went out to the Ontario Friday Night Market for the first time, VBS is almost here (June 15-19, Illumination Station), and Dad CafΓ©, Youth Night, and the Bike Rodeo are all on the way.

Good morning!
Today is Trinity Sunday, and Pastor Patrick continues our journey through Revelation with "The Seventh Trumpet and the Kingdom" from Revelation 11:15-19.
The seventh trumpet sounds. The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ. The twenty-four elders fall a third time and worship the Triune God. The temple in heaven is opened, and the ark of the covenant, hidden since the exile, is seen again. What was hidden is now seen. What was lost is now restored. Join us this morning to worship the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to celebrate the kingdom that has come.

From Pentecost to Trinity Sunday.

Last Sunday we read about the two witnesses in Revelation 11 and learned about how the breath of God raised them from the dead.

This Sunday the seventh trumpet sounds, and the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of our Lord. This Sunday, lands on Trinity Sunday where the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are named and enthroned together.

God shall reign forever.

Join us this Sunday, May 31, at 10:30 AM.
