We’re honored to spotlight Robert and Deenie Laskey, who have been a part of the Legacy Church family for the past six years and have faithfully served in a variety of ministries during that time. 🌟

Robert serves on the Praise & Worship Team, using his musical gifts to lead others in worship. For him, the Praise Team is about much more than music: "The Praise Team isn't just playing music, it's our own small group. It's a fellowship."

Deenie serves as a Greeter and on the Prayer & Care Team, helping people feel welcomed, seen, and cared for from the moment they walk through the doors. She shares: "I love greeting people because a warm welcome is one of the simplest ways our church reflects the hospitality of Christ."

🎸 Fun Fact about Robert: He lived in Hollywood, California, where he studied guitar—and says it's a great place to move away from!

📚 Fun Fact about Deenie: She loves getting lost in the books in her library and jokes that chores feel like rude intruders crashing a perfectly good reading date.

Together, Robert and Deenie demonstrate what it means to serve with both passion and heart. Whether through worship, hospitality, prayer, or encouragement, they help create a church family where people can encounter God and feel genuinely welcomed.

We’re excited to spotlight Nicole Brown as a Legacy Volunteer!

Nicole has been attending Legacy Church for the past 5 years and has faithfully volunteered for 4½ years. She serves in both the Sound Booth and Preschool Ministry, helping create a welcoming and meaningful experience for people of all ages each week.

When asked what she enjoys most about volunteering, Nicole shared:
"Being able to serve the Lord and serve others."

Her heart for serving shines through in everything she does, whether she's working behind the scenes in the sound booth or investing in some of our youngest church family members.

☕ Fun Fact: Nicole loves coffee so much that she would travel over an hour just to try a new coffee shop!

We’re excited to recognize Tracy Gerken, a faithful member of the Legacy Church family for approximately 25 years and a dedicated volunteer since 2001!

Over the years, Tracy has served in just about every area of the church. More recently, she has faithfully served in the kitchen ministry for the past eight years, helping behind the scenes to make events and gatherings successful.

When asked what she enjoys most about volunteering, Tracy shared:
"I love helping, serving, and meeting people. I love to hear their stories."

One fun fact about Tracy: she loves spending time outdoors! 🌲☀️
