You can grow up around water and still be thirsty. You can sing about it, study it, even swim in it, and still be thirsty. Water has to be taken in. The same is true of Jesus.

You can know the theology, the songs, even the morality and live by it, and still be thirsty. Grace is a gift, but gifts have to be received. What a beautiful invitation.

HOW CAN I PRAY FOR YOU?
A Student Testimony
“Did you know that Jesus loves you?” Ava Orsi asked the person in line in front of her. Ava loved Jesus. Jesus had done so much for her. Over the past year He gave her hope about her future. He filled her heart so full of love that she couldn’t help but pour it out onto the others around her. What an exciting week at Rainforest Falls!
Kids spent five days discovering who God is: Creator, All-Knowing, our Refuge, Love, and Forever.

VBS also raised funds toward Citylight’s adoption grant this year, helping families in our church welcome children home! Something wonderful about kids helping kids find families!

Thank you to every volunteer who made the rainforest come alive!

"Jesus has always been a part of my life. I never considered baptism. I grew up Catholic and baptized as a baby and thought that was all I needed. As I leaned on the word of God I found that He calls us all into baptism for us to choose a life in Jesus. I made that decision a long time ago but knew it was time to be baptized. Jesus saved me from myself and my flesh and earthly desires. He took that sin away from me and claimed it for me. When Jesus is your Lord, baptism is an outward reflection of that." - Will Pickering

What a joy to celebrate 21 baptisms at our West location last Sunday! Each testimony told a unique story of God's work, His kindness, and His saving grace. We're grateful for every person who took this step of faith and for the reminder that Jesus is still transforming lives today!
