Citylight will be gathering for summer baptisms on June 28 at the Midtown location. If you're interested in getting baptized, attend a baptism class. On Sunday, twenty-one people stepped into the water. Standing close by were the friends, family members, and community who helped get them there.  We so grateful to be celebrating redemption, and the people God used to make it happen!

Twenty-one people were baptized at our West location this morning during our Summer Baptism Celebration! Every baptism is a reminder that the gospel is true and that God is still at work in powerful ways. It was a gift to celebrate these stories of new life together. Our God is still saving, still transforming, and still worthy of our worship.

This week Citylight had the opportunity to serve families in the Walnut Hill neighborhood through Soccer Camp. We loved seeing kids learn, laugh, compete, and hear about the hope we have in Jesus. We're grateful for every volunteer who helped make these three days possible and for the relationships that continue to grow in our neighborhood. ⚽️

A Discipleship Equipping Story
Immediate relief rushed into Joe Sacco’s life. When he began to study and read his Bible, he noticed the stress and worry fall away, as if a refreshing light covered him. He attended church and was surrounded by Christians most of his life, but it was when he took a Discipleship Equipping class at Citylight where understanding sparked. From that spark, a renewed and lifegiving faith entered his soul and life, knowing what he was missing when God’s word revealed it. Read his story at citylightomaha.org/immediate-relief.
