Bro. Showalter's Home Going Celebration will be at 11 am, January 4th at The Church of Omaha.

On December 2, 2024, David Lawrence Showalter passed away in the comfort of his home with his beloved wife of 56 years by his side. David was born one of five children to Henry Martin and Thelma May Myers Showalter in Kansas City, KS, on November 13, 1948. In his

Due to Pastor Steve Showalter being out of town due to the death of his father, there is no service this evening, December 4th.

On December 2, 2024, David Showalter went to be with the Lord. He became pastor of Lighthouse UPC (our previous church name) in 1978. He served until becoming Pastor Emeritus in 2016. He will be greatly missed.

UPDATE: A Home Going celebration will be held at 11 am, January 4th, at The Church of Omaha.
