I may lose everything I have. I maybe put out in the street, I maybe be laughed at. I may be made fun of, and called a loser. I maybe lied about, I may not have any friends, but I will never forsake my Lord Jesus Christ. I did not come to entertain or make friends of the world. I came to teach the word of God from the word of God in truth, and reality. I did not come to compromise with the world. I came to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to make disciples.
The warning in Luke 6:26: "Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets". The Bible warns against being universally liked because it usually means someone is compromising the truth to gain human approval, rather than standing for what is right.
