Olean Trinity United Methodist Church At Trinity United Methodist Church of Olean, NY our desire is to be a Word Centered Church that is ethnically diverse and culturally tolerant.

Inclusive: At Trinity United Methodist Church We are multi-ethnic, multi-socioeconomic Christian churches where anyone can come as he or she is. We welcome everyone without judgment, whether you are Black, White, Latino, or Asian, live in a penthouse loft or skid row, work in U.S. Bank Tower or on public assistance, plan to vote Democratic or Republican, are gay or straight, have a moral lifestyle or a loose one. We are a “come-as-you-are” church. Gospel-Centered: Our salvation, worth, and identity come by grace (which means undeserved gift) by faith in Christ, and not by our own performance or works. We live as children of God, unconditionally accepted and loved. This is at the heart of who we are. Community: At T.U.M.C. we care for our community, the way Jesus has instructed us to do so in the Gospel of Mark 12:31. At Trinity we desire that our community will resemble our church, and our church will resemble our community. We cannot live comfortable and lavish church lifestyles while the community right outside our doors lay in ruins. We commit to becoming one with our community.

There is a specific kind of discouragement that only comes from waiting on God for a long time.

It is not the discouragement of someone who stopped believing. It is the discouragement of someone who has been believing faithfully for so long that the faith itself has become exhausting.

You have prayed the same prayer so many times that saying it out loud feels almost mechanical now. You have held on through so many false starts and almost moments that hoping again feels like a risk your heart is not sure it can afford.

But God is not measuring your faith by how confident it feels right now. He is measuring it by the fact that you are still here. Still praying. Still showing up. Still choosing Him even when choosing Him is the hardest thing you do all day.

That stubborn quiet trust is the most powerful kind of faith that exists. And God is not ignoring a single moment of it.

What is coming is worth every day of this wait.
