Oldenburg Franciscan Center (OFC)

Oldenburg Franciscan Center (OFC) We are here to help you heal, learn, discern, and grow in peace and spiritual wholeness.

The Oldenburg Franciscan Center is located in Southeastern Indiana's historic “Village of Spires”, a town founded by German settlers in the 1830s. Tucked away in a wooded valley flowing with streams and bordered by farms just North of I-74 between Indianapolis and Cincinnati, the Center offers an easy and economic retreat for those drawn to the beauty of nature, the quiet of the country, recollection in faith, and a prayerful place to find peace.

What does it look like to choose love when the world seems determined to divide us?

In a time marked by fear, polarization, and uncertainty, the Franciscan way offers another path: courage without hostility, conviction without contempt, and love that is anything but passive.

Inspired by the spirit of St. Francis, Jerry Zehr will explore what it means to practice fierce love in our lives and communities. Drawing from his new book, The Sacred Rebel, Jerry invites us to consider how we can remain faithful to our deepest convictions while still building bridges across our differences.

This isn't about avoiding difficult conversations.

❤️ It’s about choosing compassion in the middle of them.
🌿 It’s about having the courage to see the dignity in one another.
🔥 It’s about becoming people of fierce love and Franciscan courage.

We would love to fill the room this Saturday! If this message speaks to something you’ve been feeling lately, come spend the morning with us.

👉 Register today and invite a friend to join you.
