Flotude, our village champion in Port au Prince, Haiti, gave this incredible report. "God is working every day in the lives of the women. It brings me great joy to share what God is doing. One of the women owns a house that she rented out to someone. After the tenant moved in, she realized the person was a witch doctor who had brought mystical objects into the house. The man lived there for years without paying rent and refused to leave. He would beat drums all day and practice voodoo rituals, which caused the woman great distress. When she shared this situation in the group, I reminded her of the lesson we had learned: 'We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers behind them.' I encouraged her to engage seriously in prayer. She obeyed and began to pray with faith. A few days later, the witch doctor found that the objects he had placed in the room were completely burned. Surprisingly, the house itself was not burned, and nothing else in the room was damaged. The man was so shocked that he quickly gathered his belongings and left the house. This testimony clearly shows how powerfully God is working in people's lives."
