🙌 Today we celebrated two baptisms! The public declaration of faith from these individuals was a powerful reminder of God's work in our lives.

✝️ During the service, Lee White, Director of Family Ministries, encouraged us to reflect on how we respond when God's answers don't come in the timing we expect and to trust Him faithfully through every season of waiting.

A Puritan prayer inspired from The Valley of Vision.

God Most High, glorious and holy,�thinking about Your perfect peace comforts us.

We are busy, worn down, anxious, and overwhelmed, but You are always steady and at peace.
Nothing about Your plans causes You worry or fear. Your purposes never fail; they stand firm forever. Your power has no limits, and Your goodness never runs out.
You bring order out of chaos, and even our failures can become part of Your victory.
You reign over all things.

We come to You as sinners carrying burdens, worries, and sorrow. We give every concern to You, and every sin to the cleansing power of Christ’s precious blood. Awaken a deeper love for You in our hearts. Keep us close to the Good Shepherd so we can recognize His voice, trust His leading, and follow wherever He calls.

Protect us from deception by grounding us in Your truth, and protect us from harm by helping us walk in the power of Your Spirit.

Strengthen our faith in what is eternal and true. Make the truths of the gospel real in our daily lives, not just ideas we know in our minds.

Help us never to be ashamed of the gospel, but willing to stand for it, defend it, and see Jesus at the very center of it all.

Let us experience the power of Your Spirit through it.

Lord, help us, because our hearts often grow cold and distracted. Unbelief weakens our trust, and sin causes us to lose sight of You.

Pull out the sinful habits and desires that grow in our souls at the root. Teach us that real life is only found in living for You, and that everything else fades in comparison.

Your presence alone can make us holy, devoted, strong, and truly joyful.

Help us to praise the name of the Lord forevermore!
