Friday morning at Oconto Gospel Chapel's Outreach Ministries, brings sunshine and warmer temps. For some reason God got me up about 3am so I have a lot of me and God time in already.
Men's prayer is tomorrow morning at 7am. All men are invited. Park in the lot and enter through the red door.
Today we are looking at Psalm 43. Verses 3&4 really hit me. We are asking God for his truth and light and then to be brought into his presence which will give us exceeding joy. I love where it says that not only is He God, but our God as in a personal relationship;
Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling! 4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.

Almighty God thank you for being our God. The one and only God that is our joy. Thank you for each blessing today. May we use them wisely and share with others as you give us opportunity. In Jesus name Amen.

It's a damp Thursday morning at Oconto Gospel Chapel's Outreach Ministries!
Just a reminder for church in the park on Sunday July 5th at 10:15am. (No service at the Chapel building) Bring your chair for comfortable seating. Coffee and donuts before church and picnic after service. Bring a dish to pass if you can. Meet will be provided.
Today's Psalm is about the thirst the writer has for being in the presence of God. A longing to worship at the temple, which for many could be a few days journey. I guess the question is, Do we long to worship in church? Do we long to worship with a body of believers?
Psalm 42:1&2; As a
deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
Almighty Father God, how I long to worship you. We ask for you to hear our prayers for healing, for an unshakable faith and a filling of the Holy Spirit. May each of us feel your presence today. In Jesus name Amen.

Good Friday morning from Oconto Gospel Chapel's Outreach Ministries!
We geared up for worship and praise this Sunday at 8am and 10 30am with children's and adult Sunday school between service. Come join us at the corner of Main Street and Michigan Ave across from the library in Oconto.
Today's devotional:
It's a beautiful Friday morning as I am meditating on Psalm 37. The title for this Psalm is God will never forsake his saints. The verses are 5-7a;
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. 6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. 7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
Some key words are commit to, trust him and be still.
Some days these words put us to the test but the promise is, that if we live these key words, "he will act." How do we live these key words? Be in the Bible daily, pray often, listen for Him to answer and worship regularly with the body of believers.
Almighty healing God wrap your arms around each of us and heal each of us according to our needs and Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus name Amen.

Good Wednesday morning from Oconto Gospel Chapel's Outreach Ministries!
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is just a month away for ages Pre-K -5th grade completed. July 19-23 from 6-8pm. Registration is open, please call the office at 920-835-2330 for more information or how to get your child registered. Bring friends as well 😀
From my devotional I am sending family and friends with health issues; Praying over you guys for everything you need to get through the day.
Today's Psalm 35 is King David calling on God to rescue him from his enemies. I believe we can substitute with rescue from our troubles here on earth. Verses 27-28 talk about those who surround us with support and delight in us;
Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, "Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of his servant!" 28 Then my tongue shall tell of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.

Thank you Lord for all our family and friends who surround us with their love and prayers. May you shower blessings too many to count upon all of us as we each need. Please accept our praises to your holy name. Thank you for your son Jesus and his peace. In Jesus name Amen.

Just a reminder that we have church in the park July 5th at 10:15am at City Park. Picnic to follow. Bring a dish to pass if you like (not necessary if you can't) meat and buns provided by the Chapel. Bringing your lawn chair is recommended for comfortable seating and invite a friend.
Vacation Bible School is July 19-23 from 6-8pm registration is open online at ocontogospelchapel.com or call 920-835-2330.

Today's Thought: Matthew 22:14; For many are invited, but few are chosen.
These seem like harsh words don't they? But they're not. Everyone is invited, but we have the ability to reject or to accept the invitation to be chosen. Where are you?
Dear Lord, thank-you for these words today for our meditation. If any of us are on the fence, may the Holy Spirit bring us to accepting Your invitation to eternal life through Jesus. Thank-you for each blessing today, may we use them wisely and share with others as we have opportunity! In Jesus name, amen! Have a great day everyone! :)

A few dates to put on your calendar for Oconto Gospel Chapel:
July 5th is Church in the park at City Park in Oconto at 10:15 am. Picnic to follow. Bring a chair and if you have a favorite dish you are invited to bring it along for the picnic.
July 19-23 is VBS (Vacation Bible School) for prek through the fifth grade. Registration is open at Ocontogospelchapel.com or call the office at 920-835-2330 for a paper copy.
