This morning you have the opportunity to do something that is very important for every believer. You have the privilege to come together with fellow believers and worship the one who gave His life so you could be forgiven of your sins and have a relationship with Him. Just a few reasons going to church is important...

1. God loves when his people worship Him.
2. You will be fed spiritually through the word.
3. It’s a blessing to gather with your spiritual family.
4. Gods word instructs us to gather together.
5. You are an important part of your church family and you are missed when you aren’t there.

Church doesn’t save you but if you have been saved it does help you become the man or woman of God that He created you to be. Make church a priority for you and your family. This Sunday may be the day God does something amazing in your lives.

RECOVERY IS REAL! 🙌

We’re excited to welcome Josh Torbich, Executive Director of Christian Recovery Centers Inc., who will be speaking in both services and sharing about the incredible work of recovery happening right here in our community.

We’ll also have luminaries available for Lighting the Way, happening right here at Beach Assembly on September 18 at 6:00 PM.

Lighting the Way is an evening to honor loved ones in recovery, those still struggling, and those we’ve lost. Each luminary tells a story of hope and reminds us that no one walks this journey alone.

❤️ 100% of the proceeds support free residential addiction recovery services through Christian Recovery Centers Inc.

Recovery affects so many families in our community. This month we want to celebrate the victories, remember those we’ve lost, stand with those still fighting, and remind people that there is hope and recovery really is possible.

We believe in the power of prayer, and every week at Beach Assembly there are three different opportunities to come together and seek God.

And each one is a little different!

🙏 Prayer with Pastor — Tuesdays | 6:00–7:30 AM

This is a quiet, come-and-go time of individual prayer. There’s no program and no pressure. Come for the entire hour and a half, or stop in and pray for 15 minutes on your way to work. Everyone finds their own place and spends some time with God.

🙏 Ignite Prayer — Tuesdays | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

This is a focused time of praying together. There is worship, and the group joins together to pray over specific needs—our church, our community, individuals who need prayer, and whatever God puts before us.

🙏 Hour of Power — Saturdays | 6:00–7:00 PM

Most of the hour is spent in individual prayer, giving you time to seek God personally. During the last 10–15 minutes, everyone comes together to share prayer needs, encouragement, or something they feel God has placed on their heart.

Three different prayer gatherings. Three different opportunities to seek God.

Come for the one that fits you—or come to all three!

You don’t have to be a member of Beach Assembly. Everyone is welcome.

We wanted to give everyone an update on our new flagpole since several of you generously gave toward this project.

The flagpole has been purchased and paid for! Unfortunately, we have experienced delays from the manufacturer that we did not anticipate.

When we placed the order, we certainly did not expect it to take this long. After ordering, we were initially told approximately 21 days. That was later changed to eight weeks, and we have now been informed that the flagpole is on backorder from the manufacturer with an expected ship date of October 1.

We know many of you have been looking forward to seeing it installed, and so have we! We also want to make sure everyone knows that the delay is not because we haven’t ordered it or because the funds aren’t available. It has been purchased—we are simply waiting for the manufacturer to get it to us.

Thank you again to everyone who gave toward this project and for your patience as we wait. Hopefully October 1 will be the final shipping date, and before too long we’ll finally see that flag flying in front of Beach Assembly! 🇺🇸
