Next Sunday , August 30th is the final day for donating school supplies to the children at Union Elementary School. Collection bins are in the church entrance for your donations. . Items requested: Ticonderoga pencils; Crayola markers and colored pencils; ink pens; Pink Pearl erasers; black Expo dry-erase markers and erasers; highlighters; two-pocket folders; Post-It Notes; white cardstock; Clorox wipes; tissues; clear tape for tape dispensers; packing tape; and scissors.

Kathy Hand shared the inspiring story of her family’s mission work in Tanzania, Africa, which began in 1952 today before and after the church service. Since 2011, Kathy has traveled back to Africa to continue her late parents' vision. Over the last 15 years, these visits have shown how powerfully the Christian faith is flourishing. In fact, the Sepuka churches have grown from 5 to 12 locations! During fellowship Kathy talked about her families' history of the Tanzania missionary showing slides and displaying many artifacts of the area.

Our Fifth Sunday offering in August will go directly to the Tanzania missionary fund. This month, all donations will purchase much-needed desks for the school children. Please pray for this mission and consider how you might contribute.
