Cross Pointe Ocala began a few years ago in a circle of about ten people who were ready to see church be more than an organization, something to attend on Sundays, or what Christians are just supposed to do. The families who began the journey wanted to experience Christ with one another and then wanted to sh

are that expression with the rest of the world. The journey, which included renting space at Central Florida Community College, hosting summer day camps to some of the poorest Marion County residents, baptizing in a small pool after church services, and seeing people connect to God, to others, and to the world, has validated that vision - that dream that ten people in a circle had. Our story has just begun and is nowhere near its completion. We invite you to be part of the story, a story that is committed to reaching our communities for Jesus Christ. Sunday is worth showing up for.

There will always be a reason to miss, but there’s something powerful about making gathering with the church a priority. Come expectant. Bring your family. Invite someone. You never know what God might do in a single Sunday.

And there’s a lot happening this weekend at Cross Pointe! Pastor Mickey is wrapping up our “All In” series, we’re launching our Fall Small Groups, and we’ll close both services with a special time of communion together.

Maybe this week has brought some things you didn’t expect. Maybe you’re waiting on an answer, facing a difficult decision, carrying something heavy, or simply trying to keep up with everything life has placed in front of you.

Whatever it is, bring it to God.

Before you overthink it, pray.
Before you try to control it, pray.
Before you assume the worst, pray.

As we step into the rest of this week, let’s remember that we can trust God with the things we don’t understand and the things we cannot control.

You don’t have to carry it all. Give it to Him. Let us know how we can pray for you this week!

Something brand new is coming to Wednesday nights at Cross Pointe for Kindergarten–5th Grade!

ROOTS is more than another kids program. It’s a hands-on discipleship experience designed to help kids become lifelong followers of Jesus—going deeper into God’s Word, memorizing Scripture, building meaningful relationships, taking on challenges, and actually practicing the way of Jesus.

Rooted in Christ. Built up in Faith.

Prayer isn’t our last resort—it’s our first response.

Yesterday, Pastor Mickey reminded us of the power and importance of prayer and what can happen when we become a church that truly seeks God.

Prayer changes things. Prayer changes us. And prayer keeps our hearts connected to the One who holds it all.

Lives are being changed, faith is being declared, and we can’t wait to celebrate baptisms at both our 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services here at Cross Pointe!

Every baptism is a powerful reminder that Jesus is still changing lives. Come celebrate with us, cheer on those taking this incredible next step, and be part of what God is doing in our church family.
