Our annual Easter egg hunt was a fun-filled day! And you can see from the photos that there was no shortage of eggs. With separate hunts for younger and older kids, everyone had a chance to collect plenty of eggs.

Thank you to our volunteers who organized the event and to the Easter bunny for celebrating with us.

The cross is draped with black cloth, ready for Good Friday. The table is set with candles for the Tenebrae service.

Draping the cross is a church tradition that goes back hundreds of years. The black cloth represents the mockery, suffering, crucifixion, and death of Christ.

Tenebrae is Latin for "darkness." During Good Friday services, the candles will be extinguished one by one to symbolize the coming darkness of Jesus's death. At the end, we leave in silence and wait for the coming Resurrection.
