Chances are, if you’re human, you have had conflict with another person.

God calls us to love our neighbors, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. But what should we do when someone sins against us or conflict arises? In this week’s Gospel, Jesus gives us a patient framework for addressing offenses within the Church—beginning with a private conversation and seeking, whenever possible, to restore the relationship.

Disputes will arise, but how we address them matters. May we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in seeing others with dignity and respect, speaking the truth in love and seeking reconciliation.

👑 Tea, Tiaras & Wonderful Memories! ☕✨

On Saturday, August 29th, the Council of Catholic Women hosted its very first Tea & Tiara event, and it was a joyful success! We feel so blessed to have shared such a truly magical time with the wonderful women and daughters of our faith community.

Everyone who attended is still talking about what a special afternoon it was! The CCW is already discerning future events to bring our parish family together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, helped out, and made this event so memorable! 💛

In this week’s Gospel, Peter moves from acknowledging Jesus as “the Christ, the Son of the living God” — a truth revealed by the Father — to thinking according to human expectations.

How quickly can we turn from seeking God’s will to following our own inclinations?

Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him. His saving mission leads through suffering and death – but also to the promised resurrection!

May we ask the Holy Spirit to inspire and guide us to follow God’s will today.
