Safe Environment Training will be held this Sunday, September 13, at 3 pm at St. Mary’s High School, Room 104. Anyone who does or wants to help in a Catholic School, or with a Religious Education Program, Confirmation or Youth Group in any capacity is required to take this training. OCIA (the process through which people may enter the church as an adult) begins classes this Sunday, September 13 at 4 pm at the St. Patrick Parish Office. If you know someone who would like to learn more about and/or join the Catholic church, or you yourself would be interested, please contact Deacon MJ Kersenbrock at [email protected] or the Parish Office at 402-336-1602.

OCIC (This is if you have a child or children that are above the age of 7 and have not received their 1st Reconciliation and /or 1st Communion, an older child that has not received their Confirmation, or if your child is NOT baptized) will also begin on September 13 at 2 pm at the Parish Office. Please contact the Parish Office for more information on classes.

Today the Church celebrates the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Her nativity reminds us of God's loving plan of salvation and the hope that entered the world through her. May we follow Mary's example of faith and trust each day. Happy Birthday, Blessed Mother!
