Sometimes we’re so focused on what God won’t give us that we completely miss what He’s protecting us from.

We cry over closed doors, missed opportunities, and relationships that didn’t work out, never stopping to consider that God sees things we don’t. What feels like rejection today may actually be protection.

Not every “no” is punishment. Sometimes it’s proof that God loves you enough to not give you everything you ask for.

One day, you’ll look back and thank God for the door He closed.

Who needed this reminder today? 👀

The story of the prodigal son is such a beautiful picture of the heart of our Father. When the son finally came home, he expected a speech, a lecture, a reminder of everything he had done wrong. He probably rehearsed his apology over and over, ready to beg for a place as a servant. But before he could even finish his words, the father ran to him. He wasn’t standing there with crossed arms, waiting to punish him. He was waiting with open arms, ready to restore him.

That is the kind of love we find in God. He doesn’t welcome us back with shame; He welcomes us with grace. The Father sees the journey home, the repentance, the heart turning back toward Him, and He responds with compassion. The same God who celebrates the return of the prodigal is the God who invites us today: come home, you are loved, you are forgiven, and you are still His.

Where do fathers learn how to be present?
How to provide?
How to love deeply?

Not from perfection. Not from a legacy passed down alone. But from the Father above: our Father, who art in heaven!

Yesterday, Pastor B reminded us that every good quality we see in a father is a reflection of the ultimate Father. The way we love, lead, serve, and care starts with knowing the One who first loved us.

Praying we all continue to learn from the Father. 🕊️

What if the closed doors in your life aren't punishment, but protection? 👀

Yesterday’s Father's Day message reminded us that our Heavenly Father is ALWAYS present, protecting us even from ourselves, and providing everything we truly need.

Just like a parent pulls a toddler away from danger, God sometimes says "no" to what we think we want because He sees what we cannot. The relationship you're chasing, the door you're begging Him to open, His "no" might be saving you from getting burned.

The prodigal son's father didn't wait with a lecture. He waited with open arms. That's our God. Matthew 6:9 teaches us to pray "Our Father,” not just Lord or King, but Father. He's present in your valley, protective in your weakness, and His love is unconditional. You don't have to fix yourself before coming to Him.

Whatever you're facing today, remember: your Father owns it all, controls it all, and loves you through it all. Stop worrying and rest in His presence.

What are you going to do with what God shows you about yourself?

When God begins to reveal areas of your heart, it’s not because He’s trying to shame you. It’s because He’s preparing you. Conviction isn’t God’s way of pushing you away; it’s His way of drawing you closer.

God doesn’t expose what’s hidden to make you feel worthless. He exposes it so He can heal it. He reveals pride so He can produce humility. He reveals bitterness so He can bring freedom. He reveals wounds so He can restore what was broken.

Don’t get discouraged by what God is showing you. Get excited. The fact that He’s dealing with those areas is proof that He’s not finished with you yet. He’s preparing your heart for the next level, and what He reveals today may be connected to where He’s taking you tomorrow.

Healing is happening. Growth is happening. And God is getting you ready for what’s next. 🙌🏽

Ever notice that what comes out of you during pressure often reveals what’s been living in you all along?

We tend to focus on managing our words, but our words are usually just exposing what’s happening beneath the surface. Frustration, negativity, pride, resentment, impatience... these things don’t appear out of nowhere. They grow in the heart long before they show up in our conversations.

That’s why real transformation isn’t just about speaking differently. It’s about allowing God to deal with the things we’ve been carrying internally. Because when He changes the heart, the words eventually follow.

Maybe the prayer isn’t, “Lord, help me watch my mouth.” Maybe it’s, “Lord, change my heart.” ❤️

What if the biggest thing standing in your way isn’t what’s happening around you, but what’s happening within you?

We spend so much time asking God to change our circumstances, remove obstacles, open doors, and fix people. Meanwhile, He may be trying to reveal something in us that needs His attention first. It’s easy to identify external battles, but much harder to confront the pride, fear, bitterness, unforgiveness, or unhealthy motives that can quietly take root in our hearts.

The prayer that takes real courage isn’t, “Lord, change them.” It’s, “Lord, show me what’s in me.” Because sometimes the breakthrough we’re praying for begins with the heart work we’ve been avoiding.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart.” ❤️
