David wasn’t called a man after God’s own heart because he was perfect.

He was called that because he never stopped pursuing God. Even after failure, David humbled himself, repented, and ran back to the presence of God.

So many of us try to move ahead in our own strength, but David understood a powerful truth: don’t make a move without God’s presence.

Today, that same presence lives within us through the Holy Spirit.

This week’s Faith for Friday devotion is a reminder to seek God first in every decision, every season, and every step.

As believers, one of the greatest invitations God gives us is to trust Him, especially when His promises take time to unfold.

Faith is not simply believing God can do something; it is resting in the assurance that if we have prayed according to His will, He has heard us and He will answer.
