Today, we observe two meaningful occasions: Memorial Day and the memorial of Blessed Mary, Mother of the Church. As we remember those who gave their lives in service to our country, we also turn to Mary, Mother of the Church, asking her to pray for us and for all who have sacrificed for our freedom.

Cathedral of St. John Lateran- Pope Leo's Cathedral (Chair of the Pope's Leadership), me and the Roman Emperor Constantine who legalized Christianity in the Roman Empire, Constantine's mother, St. Helena, discovered the true Cross and built the Church of the Holy Sepulcher over the tomb of Christ in Jerusalem. Papal audience today. We were so close to Pope Leo with special seating. Spent time talking with the Swiss Guard. We had special pass to visit underground tomb of Saint Peter in the Scavi but no photos allowed. Very spiritually moving so close to Pentecost!
