Romans 5:3-8
"...we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

It is good to know that God allowing us to go sufferings has a purpose. He uses it for correction and teaching. "He loves us that he disciplines us and chastises us thay recieve him." (Hebrews 12:6)

Suffering is not always a bad thing. God allowed Job to suffer. He even allowed Jesus to suffer, beginning in the wilderness where he fasted and was tempted.

We are no better. We suffer for various reasons, but the outcome is to always make us better and to glorify God in the process. He even allowed a person to be born blind just so the his glory could be revealed. God is sovereign. He can do what he wants with his creation. We deserve nothing but suffering. But God is too good to us.
Praise God in and for the sufferings. Don't be defeated by and live in them.

It's interesting how the prince of the power of the air comes at those who are striving to stay close to Jesus. Storms come to everyone. What matters is how we handle them. Trust Jesus with the storms, whatever they may be. He speaks to the storms. In Mark 4:39-40 "39...Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence!” He commanded. “Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm. Then he asked,
40“Why are you so afraid?” He asked. “Do you still have no faith?”
So... don't be afraid when the storms come. Put your faith in Jesus without wavering, let him command the storm and put it to silence, telling it to be still.
Keep going. Read the word. Read the word. Read some more. Pray. Pray. Pray some more.
