We have a really special service planned for this Sunday, May 31 at 11 AM and we would love to see you there.

We are focusing specifically on our seniors this week. Don’t be offended quite yet. There is a common thought that once we reach a certain age, our best days are behind us, but we want to talk about why that just isn’t true. If you are still breathing, God still has a job for you to do.

Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for a long time or you’re just looking for some encouragement, we invite you to come be part of this. It’s going to be a time to celebrate the wisdom and strength in our church family. We can’t wait to see you all on Sunday!

So proud of this hardworking group! 7 volunteers from Burnett and Emmanuel Baptist spent the day at Seedline International and successfully assembled 1,170 John & Romans Bibles. It’s amazing what a small group can accomplish when they come together for a great cause!

No Services This Sunday!!!

Due to a major water line break and flooding in the church basement, we will not have services this Sunday, April 19th.

With 6 inches of water to clear out, we are currently waiting on plumbing repairs and safety inspections for our furnaces. We are working hard to get everything dried out and safe for the congregation.
We hope to have everything repaired and ready to go for our Wednesday service! Please help us spread the word to anyone not on social media. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to see everyone back in the building soon!💜

Life can feel so heavy and confusing sometimes. It’s completely natural to wonder how to hold onto faith when the world feels broken and the "why" behind it all just doesn't make sense.

Think about how a dog looks at its owner. A dog can’t possibly understand the complexities of a human's world. They don't know why we go to work, why we take them to the vet, or why we make the choices we do. They just don't have the capacity to see the full picture.

In many ways, we are just like that with God. Our human perspective is so small compared to the much larger "why" that only He can see. Even when it's impossible to understand the "how" or "why" of this life, there is comfort in knowing there is a God who walks through the mess with us.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV
